Oral surgery
Oral surgery consists of surgical pathology and surgery of the oral cavity. It deals with diseases and conditions of the teeth that require surgery. The surgical procedure involves the removal of supernumerary teeth, occluded or semi-occluded wisdom teeth, root remnants and periapical cysts – acrorisectomy. Surgical intervention may be required as a precautionary measure. At SK Dental Care we use the Implant Center piezoelectric system method. This system works through micro-vibrations, created by the piezoelectric effect (the passage of electricity through ceramics and crystals which causes distortion at ultrasonic frequency). The vibrations are amplified and transferred to one end and by pressing this into the bone, cavitation of the surface is created.
